FIBER CONNECTION
Manufactures use different connector types for fiber
ports. There are four main types available, three of which are used in Extreme
Networks products. The four main types are ST, SC, LC and MT-RJ. These connectors
can be used for any Ethernet standard (10Base-FL, 100Base-FX, 1000Base-SX, or
1000Base-LX).
