Exploring promotional offers

The Search Results and Shopping Cart screens automatically display a lightbulb icon to indicate that some products have promotional offers associated with them. Once you add the product to your shopping cart, the promotion is automatically applied if you meet the quantity requirements of the promotion.

To explore the details of these promotional offers, follow these steps:

1. Click the lightbulb icon to display the details of the promotion associated with that product. They will appear in a table below the added item.

   A Show Promotions check box will also be displayed in the Shopping Cart which, like the light bulb, will display the details of the promotion associated with that product.

   Note: Space limitations require the use of many abbreviations in the Promotions section. For information about how to interpret them, see Promotional Codes

2. To accept a promotion, one that hasn't been automatically applied, click the lightbulb icon in the table. The Unit Price and Extended Price figures change to reflect the promoted price.
3. To remove a promotion, click the lightbulb "X" icon or the Remove Promotion link.

Some promotions are automatically applied. For automatically applied promotions you will see the promotion lightbulb icon with the text "Promotion: Applied" beside it.

Once a promotion is accepted the promotion icon will remain with the text "Promotion: Applied" beside it. The Unit Price and Extended Price figures change to reflect the promoted price.
