Tech Data U.S. Signs Distribution Agreement with MicronPC
Resellers now have more build-to-order systems options for clients
CLEARWATER, Fla., (Nov. 20, 2002) - Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ/NMS: TECD), a leading worldwide provider of IT products, logistics management and other value-added services, has signed an agreement with MicronPC to distribute the manufacturer's line of build-to-order (BTO) computer products, geared towards the small-to-midsize-business (SMB) market. Tech Data will make available to its resellers the vendor's product line, which includes award-winning PC desktops, notebooks and servers.
"Build-to-order systems are an attractive product in today's commercial marketplace, and this agreement enables our resellers to provide their clients more choices for customizable systems," said Joe Serra, Tech Data's vice president of systems product marketing.
